Overview

Hydraulic Gantries are a safe, efficient way to lift and position heavy loads in applications where traditional cranes will not fit and permanent overhead structures are not an option.

Hydraulic Gantries are placed on skid tracks to provide a means for moving and placing heavy loads, many times with only one pick.

Hydraulic Gantry Crane Core Components

1.Gantry columns​
The primary load-bearing structure, made of high-strength steel with excellent compression and lateral bending resistance. Its height and width are customizable for operational needs, often reinforced with ribs for enhanced stability under massive loads.

2.Hydraulic jacks​
The core power component operating on Pascal's principle. Hydraulic oil is pumped into a closed cylinder to push the piston rod, generating immense lifting force. A single jack can lift hundreds of tons, and multiple jacks work together for thousand-ton lifts.

3.Telescoping beam​
The component that spans between columns and carries the load directly. It features a modular design with nested sections that extend/retract via hydraulic or mechanical drives, allowing flexible length adjustment for various object sizes.

4.Gantry tracks​
The foundation for crane movement, composed of rails, sleepers, and foundation cushions. Rails require high strength and straightness; sleepers maintain gauge and levelness; cushions provide a stable base and distribute pressure.
